ウィリアムズ症候群の症状としてみられた両側性声帯麻痺と甲状腺機能低下症：症例報告

ウィリアムズ症候群は希少神経発達疾患であり、染色体7q11.23領域にある1.5-1.8Mbの遺伝子欠失を原因とする。最初に本症候群は大動脈弁上狭窄症、精神遅滞、特徴的な顔貌の3症状があるとして記述された。我々の患者は生後7日で聞き取れるレベルの吸気性喘鳴があるとして受診してきた。その後の内視鏡検査で両側性声帯麻痺と診断され、最終的には呼吸代償不全のために気管挿管されたのち、気管切開を受けた。この男児はその後に精密検査を受けて甲状腺機能低下症と診断された。遺伝子検査の結果、ウィリアムズ症候群と診断された。ここに非典型的な臨床症状の症例を報告する。
